Phase one: our team restored and maintained the exteriors of this private residence. Our interventions to the external walls, the sandstone cladding, and the roof restored and enhanced the house’s Mediterranean architectural character, and ensured its continued resilience against the climate’s natural elements.
Phase two of the restoration focused on completely reviving the residence’s interior spaces, complete with light installations and a full-wall personalized shelving unit that becomes a key supporting feature of the space’s functions. This approach gives the hall visual order between its different zones (lounge, dining area, open kitchen) while keeping it generously open and borderless, consistent with the homeowner’s hospitality.
In the third phase, a solar canopy was designed and positioned hovering above the residence’s support facilities. The steel structure is designed and built to rhyme with the existing architectural features of the main residence, as well as carry rows of solar panels that power the site’s energy needs.
